A Tale of Sage Discovery

Welcome to the Sage Discoveries website where magically-minded women can receive the support they need to make their metaphysical passion a reality.

My name is Sue Clynes and I work with women who want to benefit from bringing a little more healing and wisdom into their lives by way of Tarot, Psychic Development and Conscious Parenting. I’m originally from England but now am living in a little town just west of Edmonton, Alberta and just loving getting in step with the pace of life in rural Canada.

From Hobby to Profession

Back in my student days I attended every psychic fair and New Age festival within a hundred mile radius of my home – even if it meant missing a few lectures to do so! I immersed myself in the woo-woo and in amongst the never ending belief systems, modalities and practices I identified my core talents as a Tarot reader and medium.

That interest in spirituality (some might say obsession :)) never went away and 10 years of further exploration of holistic and metaphysical disciplines (as both student and client), while I worked at my day job as a Business Analyst in Blue Chip finance, refined my interest further. I finally jumped in and transitioned from hobbyist to part-time practitioner in my early thirties.

I initially set up a business giving Tarot readings online. I specifically designed a menu of readings which gave my Clients practical, concrete steps to take to move forward out of their problems and into their own power. I also fell in love with Reiki along the way and set up my own Reiki healing then teaching practice when I moved to Canada 8 years ago and soon began combining the deep transformational power of Tarot alongside the gentle Reiki energy.

So Why Sage Discoveries?

By the time I came to establish a full-time practice in late 2009, I wanted to do something that honored my passion to guide others on their own metaphysical journeys but also something which really communicated my own unique slant and purpose.

I wanted to help people uncover their own wise guidance – to embark on their own journey of sage discovery – a journey crucial for them to own if they wanted to achieve ongoing healing and success.
